Better Outcomes, Easier Process
As an advisor, my goal is to help you achieve better outcomes while making the process easier for you. Throughout the process, I can provide clarity and structure, offer expert advice, resolve unanswered questions, direct you to the resources you actually need, and even serve as a much-needed buffer between stressed-out students and parents.
Working via phone, email, IM, Skype, and in-person visits (depending on location), I can help you...
Understand the process. What do colleges look for in an applicant? How can you make yourself a stronger candidate? What needs to happen, and when?
Explore your options. Which colleges might be a good fit for you? How can you learn more about these schools? What should you look for during a college visit?
Perfect your applications. How do you make your admissions essays shine? How should you prepare for the interview? How exactly do you fill out the application?
As we work together, the focus and level of involvement is up to you. Some families work closely with me from start to finish. Others call periodically with questions as they arise. Still others focus on a particular aspect of the process, such as the admissions essay—one of my specialties. Again, it's up to you. You're welcome to use "a la carte" hours ($149) or select a package, which can be adjusted later if needed: 30 hours ($2,670), 20 hours ($1,980), 10 hours ($1,090), 5 hours ($595).
"Thank you so much for your help with my application process. Your help was invaluable. I was accepted to a number of schools that I thought were a reach for me. From interview skills to essay polishing, you were integral to my application presentation. I now have the nice problem of deciding where to go because I didn't realize I would have so many choices."
